To generate buzz ahead of Zocca’s grand opening, I led the creation of a social-first campaign featuring a series of short-form Reels designed to tease the brand, build anticipation, and showcase the essence of the restaurant—from the rustic-modern interior to the bold, playful personality behind the Zocca name.

What I Delivered:

  • Engagement-Driven Captions — crafted to encourage shares, comments, and excitement


Each reel was crafted to reflect Zocca’s bold-yet-approachable brand. The series combined playful storytelling, food porn-level visuals, and subtle nods to the Italian roots of the restaurant. The strategy focused on unveiling key pieces of the Zocca experience while keeping audiences intrigued.

Insights

This reel reached 1,772 accounts, with a strong number of views from non-followers, showing solid reach beyond the core audience. It also sparked engagement among followers and was shared 257 times, which is a great sign of organic excitement and interest around the content.

This was the very first reel posted to the account, and despite starting with zero followers, it reached an impressive 4,478 accounts, demonstrating strong initial interest and organic reach right out of the gate.

The campaign delivered strong engagement ahead of opening day, created local buzz, and helped establish Zocca as a new go-to spot before guests even walked through the doors. The multi-reel format allowed for versatility and consistency—perfectly matching how users consume content today.
